The "New" Baldwins Resort Windermere, Windermere

I discovered a hidden gem at Baldwin's Resort, where nostalgia meets nature! The rustic charm of the place is delightful, and I loved how close it is to a beautiful, clear lake. My room was comfortable and spacious, although I wish the decor was a bit more modern. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, and I enjoyed a delightful breakfast each morning. However, the Wi-Fi speed was somewhat slow, which might not be ideal for everyone.

I stayed at the inn located between several Muskoka golf courses, and while I liked the spacious room and friendly staff, the lack of a dinner option was a letdown. The breakfast was also not worth the price, so I would recommend exploring other dining options. Overall, it's a decent spot with easy access to the lake and a nice atmosphere for families, but improvements could be made in dining choices.
